New Record for Boston Logan

An interesting bit of news was released by the Boston Globe today. In an article it stated that on Friday, April 13, 2018, a record number of passengers had flown out of Boston Logan on that day. 75,620 passengers and crew flew out of Boston on that day breaking the previous record from Columbus Day 2017 by over 6,000. This number was only passengers flying out of Boston, therefore people arriving in Boston didn't count. The large number of travelers was due to the travel rush for April Vacation occurring in schools in Massachusetts this week.

  1. Don't forget about Boston Marathon travelers. They would be coming in on Friday to settle in.

    1. The statistic only counted departures from the airport, therefore arrivals didn't count into the statistic. The marathon was not a factor.
