Virgin Atlantic Will Add a Second Daily Flight

Virgin Atlantic will be adding a second daily flight from Boston to London- Heathrow. Beginning March 31, 2019, the airline will operate a second flight from Boston on an Airbus A330-300. The interesting thing about the new flight is that it will be a day flight, departing Boston in the morning and arriving in London in the evening and returning late at night and staying at the airport overnight, as opposed to the majority of flights that leave Boston in the evening and arrive in Europe in the morning. There are very few routes from North America that operate on such a schedule. British Airways is the only other airline that operates morning flights from Boston. It is great to see Virgin Atlantic increasing its presence in Boston without adding service at the peak time for departures to Europe when Terminal E is cramped.
