Primera Air Announces Flights to Berlin

Interesting news today from Primera Air, which is continuing its expansion from Boston. Starting June 9th, 2019, Primera Air will fly 4 times weekly between Boston and Berlin-Tegel Airport for the summer season, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays on a Boeing 737 MAX 9. The flight will depart Berlin at 18:15 (local time) and arrive in Boston at 21:05 (local time). The return flight will depart Boston at 22:35 (local time) and arrive in Berlin at 12:05 (+1 day) local time. This is great news, as it fills in another unserved European destination (the list of which keeps on shrinking). This flight also allows Boston to return to 3 German destinations with direct flights, filling a gap which was left after the demise of AirBerlin. I really think this is the right carrier for the route from Boston, as they will use a small fuel-efficient plane, which is great considering the demand to Berlin from Boston isn't as big as other European cities. Additionally, this is a low-cost airline, which is good because most people traveling to Berlin are tourists, and are usually very price sensitive. I wish Primera Air the best of luck with their new route!
