Delta Flight Encounters Drone Near Boston

A Delta Connection flight from Philadelphia to Boston encountered an "unmanned aircraft" on its approach to Boston. The "unmanned aircraft" turned out to be a drone, but luckily the plane was not hit and landed safely. The FAA and Massachusetts State Police will be investigating this recent incident. Drone strikes are more damaging than birdstrikes to planes, and with the surging popularity of drones, this type of incident is becoming more and more common, unfortunately. Please make sure you abide by all rules when flying a personal drone, so as to not cause any damage to other people.
